She began her career as a management consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

She has over 30 years’ experience in retailing and financial services, holding senior positions at Morrisons, ASDA, Aviva, Marks and Spencer and Sainsbury’s.

Matthew Higham was appointed CDO in 2021. Before joining Costain he was Chief Digital Officer & Sustainability lead for Microsoft UK. Prior to this Matthew worked across a range of markets including financial services, manufacturing, automotive, critical national infrastructure, travel, transport, local and national services. He has a deep background in design led thinking and has worked for McLaren Technology Group, Gatwick Airport and Equiniti.

No frothy coffee; just solid research. Nicola was involved with BT’s first application of AI into call centres and initial experiments with homeworking.

Richard has held many global CXO roles including HR, Marketing, Quality, Sustainability and IT on top of 15 years as a management consultant and 5 years working with drug abusers. He is now responsible for recruiting and moving 1500 people to the arctic circle, and then onboarding them, as well as driving the development of an HR-tech start-up.
